The reason why I gave “before travel communication” a 4, instead of a 5, was because I had to email more than once, (and sometimes needed to call too), before I received replies to my questions. The hotel selection changed without anyone telling me, so I ended up giving incorrect information to people. So all of that caused me to be a bit worried about logistical mistakes when I arrived in Venice. BUT! The reality of Firebird’s care, once we were in Venice, was pure 5*! Our transfers were seamless, and our tour guide was exceptional! For the record, this was the year of Covid, and I fully understand that Firebird must’ve been under-staffed, like all other business. The end result was first class.
