Overall, the trip was fantastic. The drivers were especially great Alessandro, Blendi, Antonio -all perfect and always on time. Train travel went without a hitch. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. We loved everything about San Quirico, — the town, hotel great.

Florence hotel great location but in need of renovations. We couldn’t find the pizza/gelato class based on the address given. We were not given a name or a contact number. Both would have been helpful in finding the place. I would like some kind of partial refund for the experience since we were not able to contact the place to get more information about where they were located. It was actually a bit scary because based on Google map we ended up in kind of a dicey area as far as I was concerned and I was uncomfortable.

In Sorrento our guide was amazing and of course, it was beautiful. The hotel was OK. The beds were hard as a rock and the water pressure not great. Maybe there were a lot of hotels that were closed so perhaps aren’t many choices. The view was very nice though and the breakfast staff was very polite.

In Rome, everything went great except I would have preferred to seeing the forum after the Colosseum visit in lieu of walking around the Spanish steps and the fountains. those attractions we could have seen on our own on New Year’s Day when all the museums were close. Instead, we walked around the forum not really knowing what we were looking at and unable to gain admittance because it was closed. so scheduling should probably have included Colosseum and forum in a day and left those walking sites for New Year’s Day.

Also, the hotel was just OK.  But our guides were very knowledgeable and of course, it was Italy so of course, it was great. I hope my feedback helps you in planning future trips.
