During your historical walking tour, pass through Porta Cristina and visit the medieval quarter known as “Castello” (“Castle” in Italian). Here, admire the 14th-century Pisan towers of San Pancrazio and Elefante, see the Governor's Palace and the Cathedral, and take in the city’s finest view from the Bastion of Saint Remy.
In the afternoon, continue to the Nuraghe of Barumini, the most important and best-preserved of roughly 7,000 nuraghi scattered across the island. Known as “Su Nuraxi” (“The Nuraghe”), this archaeological treasure was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and is a must-see highlight of Sardinia.
Following the visit, you are transferred back to your hotel.

Once arrive in Alghero, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You may choose to unwind after your journey or begin discovering the city’s charm on your own.
This morning, meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and set off on a walking tour of Alghero.
The city retains remarkable traces of its Aragonese and Spanish heritage, visible in its encircling walls, defensive towers, historic buildings still in use today, and significant religious landmarks. Your guide will lead you to key highlights, including the Cathedral of Alghero, Piazza Sulis, and the Espero Reial Tower — one of the fortifications that once formed part of the city’s protective walls.
Following a break for lunch, your adventure continues with a visit to the renowned Neptune Caves, dedicated to the sea god Neptune. Among Sardinia’s most celebrated natural wonders, these caves are reached by a scenic half-hour public boat ride from Alghero. Inside, enjoy a guided tour showcasing the awe-inspiring rock formations and striking beauty of this geological treasure.
After returning to your hotel, the rest of the day is free. Strolling through narrow cobblestone streets, dining at a cosy local restaurant, and admiring Alghero’s captivating coastal views make for an ideal evening.

Your exploration begins at Olbia’s historic port, in use since pre-Roman times, before visiting the fascinating Museo Archeologico, which highlights the region’s rich maritime and cultural heritage. You then admire the Chiesa di San Paolo, a charming church built on the site of an ancient temple, and continue to the Basilica Minore di San Simplicio — a striking Romanesque granite church that dates back to the eleventh century.
