Arrival to Amalfi Coast

Welcome to Sorrento, the charming city of Southwestern Italy! Start your journey with a private transfer to your lovely hotel for check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Today is dedicated to exploring Sorrento individually. Fuel on breakfast before setting off to explore the city on your own, go souvenir hunting or unwind amid beautiful surroundings. You can also join one of our carefully planned optional tours.

    Marvel at the scenic Sorrento Coast and witness some of the most awe-inspiring rock formations while on your way to Capri. Make your way to the authentic caves and grottoes of Faraglioni and enjoy the spectacular views of Italian sceneries all around.

Coastal Exploration of Amalfi & Train to Rome

After fueling up on breakfast, you check out from the hotel and, together with a private guide and driver, set off on a scenic sightseeing tour of the Amalfi Coast.

In addition to witnessing the staggering beauty of the coast, you also get the chance to visit the charming towns of Positano and Amalfi, as well as get acquainted with the local culture and history. You also enter the Cloister of Paradise, depicting the Arab and Roman influences on Amalfi.

Once the tour is finished, you are transferred to the station for your train to the bustling capital of Italy, Rome. Upon arrival in the Eternal City, a private driver takes you to your lovely downtown hotel.

Day 4
Highlights of Rome & Colosseum

After breakfast in your hotel, you meet with your private guide and have a transfer to the very heart of Rome. Today you discover the famous ancient treasures of the Eternal City.


Your first stop is Rome's hallmark site - the Colosseum. Originally known by the name of Flavius amphitheater, it was the biggest and most imposing building of its kind in the Roman world, designed as an arena for the fights of Roman gladiators and could hold up to 70 thousand spectators.


After touring Colosseum you proceed with a walking city tour to see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of the Eternal City. You see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.



After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel and you have the evening at leisure.

Vatican Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast, you meet your guide and walk to a walled enclave and the world’s smallest independent state - Vatican*. When inside the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra.


Next, you proceed to the Sistine Chapel, where you have enough time to admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the intense relationship between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo that drove the artist to create the greatest work of art the world has ever known.


Your tour continues in the vast open spaces of St. Peter’s Basilica where you see a stunning Pieta - a world-famous work of Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo, and Bernini's impressive Papal Canopy, a legacy left to the Basilica by the Barberini family.


The ending point of your tour is in St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire Michelangelo's Dome and the gorgeous colonnades designed by Bernini. 


After the tour, you are transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of Rome on your own.

  • Please note: the Vatican is a sacred religious site thus the dress code for visiting it is applied just as when you visit any church in Italy: no shorts – no uncovered knees and shoulders, no backpacks.

Day 6
Train to Florence & Sightseeing

Say farewell Rome and hop onboard the train heading towards Florence! You reach the destination in under two hours and take a private transfer to your centrally-located, where you meet the guide for a walking tour of Florence's highlights.

Today you pay a visit to the renowned Piazza del Duomo, as well as the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist. Make sure to make the most out of your ticket to the Grande Museo del Duomo, which allows you to visit not only the Cathedral itself but numerous other monuments of Piazza del Duomo during your free time as well. The ticket is valid for 72 hours and provides entrance to the famous Dome, the Bell Tower, and the Cathedral Museum boasting works by Michelangelo and Donatello. 

Make your way to marvel at Piazza della Signoria, the main square of the city, while walking by several attention-worthy sights, such as Piazza della Repubblica and the Strozzi Palace. You also don't want to miss the chance to wander along one of the most beautiful streets in Verona, the nearby Via Tornabuoni.

Cross the Arno River on Ponte Vecchio and continue your tour to the Oltrarno district, filled with not only monuments but authentic crafts to admire as well. Visit the shops of local craftsmen to get acquainted with their art forms before moving on to marvel at the Santo Spirito Church and Convent, built for the Augustinians. 

Talking about art, this is the part of the city, where you can find the early works of 17-year-old Michelangelo. You also have the chance to witness his talent at Galleria dell'Accademia, where the tour takes you to marvel at his iconic colossal statue of David. The comprehensive tour ends at one of the most popular points of interest in the city, the picturesque Ponte Vecchio.

Day Trip to Cinque Terre Coast

Today is dedicated to admiring the most picture-perfect towns of Cinque Terre, while on a fascinating tour with a local professional guide.

Hop onboard the train taking you from La Spezia to Monterosso - the biggest village of Cinque Terre. As a matter of fact, it is also the only one with a lovely sandy beach! Divided into two parts, the city consists of Fegina - the new part nearby the beach mentioned, and a medieval one, filled with authentic charming alleyways, colorful houses, shops, and restaurants. It also has a parish church worth paying a visit to.

Take another short train ride to your next destination - the charming village of Vernazza. Boasting an amphitheater-shaped natural pier, Vernazza is arguably the most picturesque town of Cinque Terre, which you can witness with your own eyes. Once a Roman installation, it used to boast great strategical importance during the age of the Maritime Republics of Genoa. The postcard-like town is your stop for lunchtime today, after which you embark on a boat and head towards your last destination.

The last, however, certainly not the least stop on the itinerary is the oldest village of Cinque Terre, Manarola. Surrounded by wineries, it boasts authentic architecture and sights, such as the Church of San Lorenzo, dating back to 1338. 

After actively sightseeing the wonders of Cinque Terre, you return to your hotel in La Spezia and have the rest of the evening at your leisure.

  • Note: The ferries between the villages are available From April 20th till November 1st. If the weather is not permitting tourists to have the whole trip with trains.

Train to Venice & Sightseeing

After checking out from the hotel in Florence, you meet your driver for a transfer to the train station, where you board a train to Venice. Upon arrival to the unparalleled Italian jewel, you check-in at the centrally-located hotel and set off on a comprehensive walking city tour of all the must-see places of Venice.

The itinerary includes an abundance of iconic sights, such as St. Mark's Basilica, where you get to admire the marvelous Pala D'Oro altar and climb to the Loggia dei Cavalli for some awe-inspiring views over the St. Mark's Square. After that, you make your way to the Doge's Palace nearby, cross the renowned Bridge of Sighs, and explore the prisons and opulent chambers of the palace.

Your tour then continues to the Rialto Market, a must-visit while in Venice, for a chance to sample the local produce and authentic ambiance of one of the few open-air food markets in Italy. You also have the chance to catch a glimpse of the Rialto Bridge before making your way along the Grand Canal to marvel at the unique narrow streets and alleyways of the city.

  • You can expect to find some shops and restaurants closed from 1-4 p.m. as it is "Riposo" time, Italy’s midday siesta. Most places will be also closed on Sundays
