Discovering Ancient Rome and Train to Bari

Your first stop is the iconic Roman Forum, located between the Palatine and Capitoline hills. This historic site served as the political, religious, and civic heart of ancient Rome, dating back over 3,000 years. Today, you can explore the remains of ancient temples, arches, and buildings, including the Temple of Caesar and the Arch of Septimius Severus, as well as the nearby Palatine Hill, where Rome’s earliest settlements were founded.

Next, continue your journey to one of Rome’s most famous landmarks, the Colosseum. Once known as the Flavian Amphitheater, it was the largest and most impressive structure of its kind in the Roman world. It was designed to host gladiatorial contests and could accommodate up to 70,000 spectators.

After the tour, your driver will transfer you to the train station for a comfortable 4-hour ride across Southern Italy to the beautiful coastal town of Bari.
