Prepare yourself for a trip to the Eternal City, Rome! After breakfast in your Florence hotel, you check out and then you are transferred to the railway station. In about 1.5 hour you arrive at this magical city. Your driver meets you and takes you to your central hotel where your private guide is waiting for you. Together you set off on a tour to explore the famous hallmarks of the Eternal City.
On your adventure, you see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as observe the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.

Meet the morning with a delightful breakfast and then meet your guide to explore the famous Eternal City on a walking tour. Situated on low ground between the Palatine and Capitoline hills, the iconic Roman Forum is your first stop. Built around the 3rd century A.D., the landmark served as the center of politics and rituals.
Today you behold the historical remnants of ancient Rome such as the Temple of Caesar and the Arch of Septimius Severus, as well as the neighboring site of the city’s first settlements, Palatine Hill.
Of course, the legendary Colosseum, the symbol of Rome. The biggest building of its kind in the Roman Emire and an arena for gladiators' fights is your next travel point. Basically known as Flavius amphitheater, it could hold up to 70 thousand spectators.

Following breakfast, your guide meets you and walks you to the world’s smallest independent state, Vatican*. In the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra.
The Sistine Chapel is your next point, where you admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the history behind them.

- You can expect to find some shops and restaurants closed from 1-4 p.m. as it is "Riposo" time, Italy’s midday siesta. Most places will be also closed on Sundays
