Venice Sightseeing

Following breakfast, you're met by your private guide in the lobby and set forth to a wonderful walking city tour of all the important highlights.

You start with a visit to St. Mark's Basilica with the amazing Pala D'Oro altar. Then you move to enjoy the best panoramic views of St. Mark's Basilica Square at Loggia dei Cavalli.

The magnificent Doges Palace is next on your tour hallmarks list. You cross the Bridge of Sighs, visit the old prisons and luxurious Palace's chambers.

After the tour, you return to the hotel to relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure or you can go on an optional gondola ride.

Free Day & Train to Florence

Today is dedicated to exploring and enjoying Venice individually. We advise you to see the Peggy Guggenheim Collection or join our carefully planned optional day trip to the islands of Murano & Burano.

In the afternoon on a private water-taxi, you go to the railway station. Enjoy your 2-hour ride to the beautiful Florence onboard a comfortable train. And when you arrive, your private driver meets you at the train station to transfer you to the hotel for the check-in. The rest of the evening is yours to relax.

Florence Sightseeing

After energizing with a delightful breakfast in your hotel, you meet with your private guide to set off on an inspiring walking tour of Florence's most famous hallmarks.

The programs includes exploration of the Piazza del Duomo and a visit to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist.

Your ticket to the Grande Museo del Duomo allows you to visit the other magnificent monuments of Piazza del Duomo in your free time within 72 hours: the Cathedral itself, the famous Dome, the Bell Tower, and the Cathedral Museum with works by Michelangelo and Donatello. 

Passing through the heart of the historical center and admiring such landmarks as Piazza della Repubblica and the Strozzi Palace, you proceed to the city's main square. Tornabuoni, one of the most beautiful streets of the city, with its excellent shops is also on your way. 

Before entering the Oltrarno district where diverse local craftsmen shops and the beautiful Santo Spirito Church and Convent are located, you cross over the Arno River on the Ponte Vecchio. This part of the city holds an early work of Michelangelo dating back when he was 17. 

On tour, we also visit the Galleria dell'Accademia with Michelangelo's famous colossal statue of David, a must-see in Florence.

Highlights of Rome

Prepare yourself for a trip to the Eternal City, Rome! After breakfast in your Florence hotel, you check out and then you are transferred to the railway station. In about 1.5 hour you arrive at this magical city. Your driver meets you and takes you to your central hotel where your private guide is waiting for you. Together you set off on a tour to explore the famous hallmarks of the Eternal City.


On your adventure, you see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as observe the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.



After the tour, you return to your hotel and you have the evening at leisure.

Day 7
Discovering Ancient Rome

Meet the morning with a delightful breakfast and then meet your guide to explore the famous Eternal City on a walking tour. Situated on low ground between the Palatine and Capitoline hills, the iconic Roman Forum is your first stop. Built around the 3rd century A.D., the landmark served as the center of politics and rituals.

Today you behold the historical remnants of ancient Rome such as the Temple of Caesar and the Arch of Septimius Severus, as well as the neighboring site of the city’s first settlements, Palatine Hill.

Of course, the legendary Colosseum, the symbol of Rome. The biggest building of its kind in the Roman Emire and an arena for gladiators' fights is your next travel point. Basically known as Flavius amphitheater, it could hold up to 70 thousand spectators.

After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel and you have the evening at leisure.

Vatican Sightseeing

Following breakfast, your guide meets you and walks you to the world’s smallest independent state, Vatican*. In the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra.


The Sistine Chapel is your next point, where you admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the history behind them.

Have a coffee break and continue your journey to St. Peter’s Basilica with a fascinating Pieta, a famous work of Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo, and Bernini's impressive Papal Canopy, the Barberini family legacy left to the Basilica.


Your tour ends in St. Peter’s Square, where Michelangelo's Dome is located as well as the gorgeous architecture works by Bernini. 


After the tour of the Vatican, you enjoy a free walk to the hotel together with your guide having a photo stop at the legendary Castel Sant'Angelo, which in due times served as a mausoleum, a fortress, refuge and a prison.

When you return to the hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of Rome on your own.

  • You can expect to find some shops and restaurants closed from 1-4 p.m. as it is "Riposo" time, Italy’s midday siesta. Most places will be also closed on Sundays
